2.02 pm: Maharashtra BJP leader Gopinath Munde has assumed charge as the Union Rural Development Minister.

1.56 pm: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address media before leaving for his country.

1.24 pm: Rajnath Singh, who has been appointed as the Union Home Minister, is expected to assume the charge of the Ministry on Wednesday.

12.42 pm: Narendra Modi is meeting Pak PM Nawaz Sharif at the Hyderabad House. Ahead of the highly anticipated meeting, both the leaders briefly appeared for the press.

11.30 am: Newly-elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif as well as other South Asian leaders on his first day on the job. In addition to sitting with Sharif, Modi also has brief one-on-one meetings scheduled with leaders from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Mauritius and Maldives.
