Potatoes with Fenugreek leaves(Ayurvedic recipes)

Ingredients:

1tbsp mustard oil or butter
2tbsp dried fenugreek leaves(soaked)
1tbsp pepper powder
4 potatoes(washed,peeled)
1/2tbsp salt
1clove garlic


Method:

In pan,heat oil or butter i prefer butter(because its good for health ) over medium.Add garlic(crushed or chopped),pepper  sauté for one minute  until garlic become brown.Add potatoes,salt wait for 3to4mins.Add the fenugreek leaves which we have already soaked in water.add soaked water also and bring to boil.cover the lid for 15mins.after potatoes are boil and no water for remain.now you can serve with the chapattis,rice.

Fenugreek when taken with a teaspoon of lemon and honey can work wonders to reduce fever by nourishing the body. The soothing effect of mucilage in fenugreek also helps to relieve cough and pain from sore throat.
